Steve celebrated an auspicious birthday on Saturday, August 9, 2003.  Crowds from all over the Bay Area attended.  It was a catered affair in the Steve and Tim's backyard.  The temperature was in the mid-80's but everyone remained cool in the shade.  Friend Don D flew down from Seattle and Don B drove up from Gilroy.  Guests celebrated late into the night.
